A local man is scheduled to appear in Madison County District Court this week with charges related to a theft that took place at Dollar Deals.
Shirley Hicks, co-owner of Dollar Deals on Richmond Road, said that approximately $10,000 was stolen from the store at closing time Monday. She said she had left to go home early and Roy Crisp, also an owner of the store, was closing down when someone stole the deposit bag.
