Estill County Sheriff’s Deputy Randy Farthing reported last week that two burglaries, which took place on the same day, were reported.
On Thursday, April 11, both Stacy Alexander and Steven Rison reported to Farthing that their home were burglarized.
According to the uniform citation, Alexander, of Flinchum Road, said an electric four-wheeler and a bathroom vanity were taken from her property.
Farthing said when he arrived at the home, he talked with Kim Rogers. Rogers told him she had recently purchased the home from Alexander. She said she arrived to help Alexander move her property out and noticed the bathroom sink was missing.
Alexander said she didn’t know where the sink went.
Upon investigation, Farthing was told a four-wheeler had been taken from the property three week ago as well.
Alexander said there were no signs of forced entry at the home.
On the same day, Rison, of Rison Circle, also reported a burglary.
He said the back door of his house had been kicked in while he at was work between 6 a.m. and 3:15 p.m.
A .22 semi-automatice pistol, a Remington .22 rifle, a 32-inch Vizio television, a 42-inch Vizio television, two case knives, a Styl weedeater and a Troybilt roto tiller.
Both of the cases remain open.
Farthing said he would check the online-leads for the missing items.
