Police Beats for Aug. 1, 2013

Irvine Police Department

7-23 Miranda Lewis, of Ravenna, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, open alcohol container in a motor vehicle, second-degree disorderly conduct and menacing.

7-28 John Russell Dunaway, of Richmond, was arrested by Officer Jeff Knuckles and charged with operating a motor vehicle on a DUI suspended license, reckless driving, four counts of wanton endangerment and various traffic offenses. Dunaway lead police on a pursuit from Winchester Road to Wall Street. There were no reported injuries during the pursuit.

Sheriff’s Department

7-19 Michael Wilson, of 1401 Red Lick Road, reported to Deputy Randy Farthing that someone took his trailer. The trailer was attached and locked to his Hummer, which was parked in his driveway at the residence listed above. He said someone cut the lock. The trailer is six-foot wide, eight-foot long, black mesh and has a black mesh ramp-style tailgate.

7-23 Jon Cockrell, 20, of Dark Hollow Road, was arrested by Deputy Josh Rison and charged with theft by unlawful taking over $500. Rison said he was dispatched to the Apple Market Shell Mart in reference to an employee who had been refunding money to himself. Cockrell had refunded approximately $800 over a month’s time.

7-23 Armeda Stallings, 49, of Winston Road, was arrested by Rison on two Estill County District Court warrants. She is charged with first-degree alcohol intoxication in a public place, second offense, and cultivating marijuana, first offense.

7-25 Roxie Hall, 36, of Watson Ridge Road, was cited to court by Deputy Russell “Doc” Morris and charged with failure to maintain required insurance and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Morris said he was dispatched to the 5,000 block of Furnace Junction to a single-vehicle accident. Hall, the driver of the vehicle, had slurred speech, pin-point pupils and was unsteady on her feet and failed the field sobriety tests. She was admitted to the emergency room for her injuries. She is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 18.

7-27 Larry Riddell, 35, of Dreyfus Road, was arrested by Farthing and charged with first-degree alcohol intoxication in a public place. Farthing said he was dispatched to Stop and Shop in reference to a drunk male in the parking lot. He found Riddell in the parking lot. Riddell admitted to drinking whiskey. ”

District 1 Constable

7-21 Jeremy McGuire, 38, of Cow Creek Road, was arrested by Constable District 1 Danny Conrad on an Estill County District Court warrant. He is also charged with menacing. Conrad said McGuire was uncooperative in the arrest and threatened him with bodily harm.

7-27 Abid Lancaster, 24, of White Oak Road, was cited to court and charged with disregarding a traffic control device and no signal. While turning on KY 89, Lancaster did not stop at the stop sign or use his signal.
