The 8th Annual “Holes for Hoops” fundraiser for the Estill County High School Boys’ Basketball Program was this past Saturday at the Estill County golf course.
There were 11 teams, or 44 golfers, in the tournament. Finishing first with a score of 16 under was a team made up of Donnie Kearns, Bud Christian, Burgess Clark and Mike Osborne. Second place, also with a 16 under score was a team made up of Jared Kiser, Myles Ashley, Travis Adams and Jimmy Combs.
Closest to the pin went to Donnie Kearns and longest drive went to Jared Kiser.
The Estill County boys’ basketball program would like to thank all 44 golfers who played in the tournament and all the sponsors who made the tournament possible by donating money and items for prizes.
