A White Oak woman was seriously injured in a car crash on Richmond Road Saturday morning. Arzella Crawford, 78, of 1044 White Oak, was driving west in a 1999 Dodge Neon when she attempted to make a left turn into the parking lot of Dextral Horn’s flea market on Hwy. 52. Crawford’s car and a car driven by Mary Martin, 48, of 100 Millstone Drive, Richmond, collided in the east-bound lane. Both drivers were transported to Marcum and Wallace Memorial Hospital with injuries. Crawford was taken to UK Hospital via an ambulance, and Martin was flown to UK. Police say Martin was later treated and released. Crawford suffered multiple fractures, but is expected to recover.
