Estill County Sheriff’s Department

3-26 Bobby G. Saylor, of 1530 Gabbardtown Road, was served a warrant from Estill District Court by Kentucky State Police Trooper Jason Carpenter.  The warrant stated that on March 26, 2014, Saylor was involved with two other males in a drug incident.  Saylor is said to have run from the scene as Sheriff’s deputy Russell Morris was gathering information.  Three small bags of a crystal-like substance and a 9 mm Ruger were located in the driver seat and console, as well as numerous pipes and needles.  Two men were arrested and charged, but no one would claim ownership of the items. The warrant charged Saylor with possessing drug paraphernalia, possessing a controlled substance, first degree, first offense, and possessing a handgun by a convicted felon, which is a class C felony.  Saylor is being lodged in the Roederer Correctional Complex in LaGrange.

3-31 Paula Voils, 34, of 2335 Dreyfus Road, was charged with theft by unlawful taking of two pairs of sunglasses from the Dollar Store.  The items were valued at $14.84.

Irvine Police Department 

3-30 Jessica R. Ledford, 35, of 504 Cantrill Street, was served a bench warrant for failure to appear in court for several traffic violations.

3-30 Joshua Ledford, 34, of 504 Cantrill Street, was served a bench warrant for failure to appear in court for traffic violations. He was also served a bench warrant for failure to pay fines.

3-31 Donna A. Doty, 42, of 4235 Richmond Road, Apt. 1, was served a bench warrant for failure to comply with the Westcare reporting program.  Underlying charges include trafficking in a controlled substance, first degee, first offense; possessing a controlled substance, second degree.

3-31 Amanda Cox, 34, of 142 Kirkland Avenue, was arrested by IPD Officer Michael Gross after he received an alert that a woman was snorting Xanax with two children in the back seat of her vehicle.  Cox failed field sobriety tests, according to a police report.  Her license was found to be suspended, and she is said to have a previous DUI charge in 2011.

4-1 Christina Brooks, of 227 Mountain Crest, was served a bench warrant for failure to appear in court.

4-1- Amanda Arvin, 34, of 142 Kirkland Avenue was served an arrest warrant from Estill District Court for theft by unlawful taking (cold checks).

4-2 Mark Nicholas Worrell was served a bench warrant for failure to pay court costs for the underlying charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs; failure of a non-owner operator to maintain required insurance, and no registration plates.

4-3 Ginny McKinney, 31, of 1212 Cow Creek Road, Ravenna, was observed driving west on River Drive and swerving in the lane.  When pulled over, she failed field sobriety tests.  She agreed to a blood draw and admitted to taking oxycodone two days prior.  Her 11 year-old daughter was in the car, according to the police report
