The descendants of Isaac Henry will have their annual reunion Sunday, Oct. 7, from noon to 4 p.m., at the Senior Citizen Center on Stacy Lane Road in Irvine. All relatives and friends are invited to attend. Please bring a covered dish and soft drinks.

The annual James and Rosa Puckett McIntosh reunion will be Sunday, Sept. 16, at the McIntosh farm located at Marbleyard. Lunch will be potluck and will be at 1 p.m. Door prize will be a beautiful handmade afghan crocheted by Vivian Lane. Remember to wear a hat to enter the hat contest. Prizes will be awarded in children’s and adult categories. Winners will be chosen for prettiest hat, ugliest hat and the most unusual. There will be more prizes for the drawings that are held every year. Bring some food and drinks and come out and join us. All family and friends are invited. There will also be a talent show.
