In August, Unique Hair Salon moved just a few doors down from their previous location on River Drive to the building beside Old Crow’s Nest Country Mall and Florist.
Owned by Timiri Bingham, the shop is a full-service salon that offers tanning, pedicures, manicures, waxing, perms, high-lights and low-lights.
Unique to Unique Hair Salon is their new stand-up tanning bed, which Timiri says is the only one in town as far as she knows. The brand-new 10 minute bed is already proving popular. They also have a new lay-down bed, which features bronzing bulbs and red-light facial tanning.
The salon is open from Tuesday through Saturday. Appointments can be scheduled during that time or walk-ins are welcome.
The salon’s core staff includes Timiri, who’s been a stylist for about 22 years, and Kristie Walters, who’s “done hair” for 19 years.
Ashley Fox is new at Unique Hair Salon and Timiri encourages customers to call her for weekly specials.
She also employs Renee Miller and Crystal Henegar part-time. Crystal specializes in the new long-lasting gel nail polishes.
The shop carries a wide variety of styling products, nail polishes and tanning lotions. They also offer gift certificates for Christmas or any other occasion.
Timiri and staff invite the public to come by and see them at their new location at 101 River Drive.
